The Math Department at Bel Air High School offers courses that align with the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics such as Ramp Up to Algebra, Intro to Algebra and Algebra 1 through Carnegie Learning, Geometry, Algebra 2, and HCC Math. We also offer multiple upper level courses to further students’ enrichment in mathematics. These courses include Trigonometry, PreCalculus, Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics.

We are thrilled to have our own chapter of the Math Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, at Bel Air High School. Students who have a minimum 3.5 GPA in their math classes as well as have passed Algebra 2 are eligible to be in the Math Honor Society. Our Math faculty design lessons that are engaging, rigorous, and incorporate all of the Standards for Mathematical Practice.
