Bobcat Book Club
Attention bobcats: do you enjoy visiting Barnes and Noble? Is the Harford county library one of your favorite places to go on a rainy day? if you enjoy reading and discussing books with others, then Bobcat Book Club is for you! The first meeting of the bobcat book club will be held Thursday, September 26th in the media center from 2:10 – 3:10. Hope to see you there.

Junior Class Officers

Applications are located outside of Mrs. Smith’s room A219. Completed application and campaign signs/posters are due to Mrs. Smith by 2:15 pm on Wednesday, September 25th. Elections will be held on Thursday, October 3rd during homeroom.

The 2018-2019 yearbook will be available for pick-up outside of the cafeteria today during all lunches.
Secret Senior Sign Ups
Hey seniors: you should have received a new secret senior form in homeroom on Monday. It’s on yellow paper now and it has space for you to fill out information on the back. Please complete this and have it ready to turn in during signups next Tuesday! If you come to signups and you don’t have a form complete, you will be asked to step aside and fill it out so we can keep the line moving. Please be ready so you can adopt the staff member of your choice!

HCPS College and Career Fair
College is right around the corner – for some, closer than others. No matter how long until you graduate, the HCPS College and Career Fair is a great place to start planning! On Wednesday, October 16 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, you can meet with hundreds of colleges and universities – like University of Maryland, Penn State or Virginia Tech – to find the best fit for you.
Mu Alpha Theta
Attention members of Mu Alpha Theta: the first math honor society meeting will be held on Thursday, September 19th at 7:10 am in the auditorium. We will discuss the timeline and expectations for the year; if you are a member, please plan to attend.

Bel Air High School Engineering Team
The Bel Air High School Engineering Team will have a new member meeting on Wednesday, September 18. If you are interested in joining the bobcat engineers, please attend this first meeting. You will get to meet the team captains and learn what we do. You can also let us know what skills you can bring to the team. Currently, we are looking for artists, public speakers, writers, builders, mathematicians and thinkers. The meeting will be held in room A-123 from 2:00 to 3:30. See you there.
Bel Air Best Buddies
Are you interested in having a lot of fun, enjoying good food and making long-lasting friendships? Join Bel Air’s Best Buddies chapter for the 2019-2020 school year. Come to the interest meeting on Wednesday, September 18 after school from 2:15 – 3:15 in room C220. Stop by smoothie king from 5-9 pm on Sept 18th. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to bel air best buddies.
